Description
Bavaria 44 – 2004
A reliable and very popular cruising sailboat, the Bavaria 44 is renowned for its excellent compromise between comfort, build quality, and sailing performance. Thanks to its robust construction and well-designed hull, it offers safe and smooth sailing, even in demanding weather conditions. The yacht can accommodate up to 8 guests spread across 4 cabins and 2 bathrooms. This unit is equipped with a 55 hp Volvo Penta D2 diesel engine, allowing economical cruising at a speed of 7 to 8 knots in calm seas. The sailboat comes with a comprehensive equipment package that includes, among other things: a 2.3 m Zodiac dinghy with a 2.3 hp Honda four-stroke outboard engine, a sprayhood and a bimini (new in 2023), a Raymarine ST2000 autopilot, a 6-inch Lowrance GPS chartplotter, a Raymarine VHF, a genoa (53 m²) and a mainsail (47 m²) new in 2022, 200 W solar panels, as well as new batteries installed in 2025 (2 × 180 Ah and 1 × 90 Ah).
The yacht is registered under the Greek flag for commercial use. In 2024, the owner removed the engine to replace the saildrive as well as all associated engine peripherals.
