Scorpion PL 7.80/ 1999
Description
Scorpion PL 7.80 – 1999
One of the most well-known RIBs in its class, forming the basis of the later 8.60 model (without bracket). It features a deep-V hull, renowned for its excellent performance in rough seas and its dry, safe ride. The boat is in excellent condition, with fewer than 200 total hull hours, always stored on land (never kept in the water long-term), used strictly for private purposes, and comes with a trailer. It is powered by a four-stroke Yamaha FL250 XL (2010) with 580 engine hours, in excellent condition, offering a fuel consumption of approximately 1.1–1.3 L per nautical mile and a cruising speed of 27–33 knots. The original tubes were replaced in 2023 with genuine Ribco tubes (matte anthracite). The boat is equipped with simple and reliable essentials, including a Lofrans anchor windlass with 60m chain, GPS/depth sounder/fish finder, engine instruments, navigation lights, 80L freshwater shower, and a radio/CD system. It also features two fuel tanks with a total capacity of 350 liters.
The boat is currently stored dry docked under its winter cover, and the listed price is very close to the final asking price.
