Posillipo-Rizzardi Technema 65/ 1983
Description
Posillipo Technema 65 – 1983
A classic and highly sought-after motor yacht from the renowned Italian shipyard Posillipo, the Technema 65 combines the solid construction and timeless design of its era with exceptionally comfortable living spaces and reliable engineering.
This yacht stands out for its remarkably consistent ownership and maintenance history. It has remained in the hands of the same owner over the years and has been systematically and meticulously maintained. It is powered by two reliable Detroit Diesel engines, 2 × 720 hp, currently showing approximately 3,300 hours of operation. In 2020, at 3,000 hours, the engines underwent a complete overhaul, covering cylinder heads, cylinder liners, piston rings, bearings, and other major components. Since this overhaul, the engines have accumulated only approximately 300 hours. Her economical cruising speed is approximately 16 knots at 2,000 rpm, with a fuel consumption of approximately 240 liters per hour. The maximum engine speed is 2,400 rpm, providing a particularly comfortable and relaxed cruising experience, perfectly suited for long-distance passages.
One of the yacht's main assets lies in her spacious and practical layout. She was initially configured by the shipyard with 4 cabins and 3 bathrooms, offering excellent privacy and great autonomy for guests. In addition, she has a separate crew cabin accommodating 2 crew members.
It is also worth noting that the upholstery throughout the entire yacht has been replaced and is currently in very good condition.
Her equipment includes, among other things, two Onan generators rated at 16 kW and 12.5 kW, the first of which was replaced in 2016, a Victron Energy Phoenix inverter of 3,500 watts, as well as an air conditioning system consisting of 4 independent units. Another important feature is the yacht's tender: a 4.5-meter Boston Whaler, powered by a 60 hp Mercury outboard engine, new in 2018.
In 2022, the yacht underwent an anti-osmosis treatment, once again demonstrating the preventive and thorough maintenance carried out regularly over the years.
The yacht is owned by a limited liability company (LTD), and it is possible, should the new owner wish, to acquire the company along with the yacht. This structure may also allow the current marina berth to be retained, which can represent a significant advantage for the new owner.
The yacht is EU VAT paid and currently flies the British flag.
